“Maternity Abroad” is Heading to Copy Editing!

Woman, reading, while hiding her face behind a black book cover and eating a piece pf cake

I can hardly believe I’m writing this. By the end of this week, my upcoming book Maternity Abroad will be in copy editing. When I hit “send” on the manuscript, I may or may not have cried a little (okay… I definitely did). It’s such a huge milestone, and I’m so excited to finally be one step closer to sharing it with you.

The Journey So Far

This book has been a labor of love. What started as an idea sparked by countless conversations with amazing women on my podcast Maternity Outside of Brazil turned into late nights at the laptop, endless coffee refills, and more than a few moments of wondering if I’d ever get it just right. But every story and every revision was worth it.

Why I Wrote Maternity Abroad

Becoming a mother abroad is both beautiful and challenging, and no two journeys are alike. Alongside my own experience, I’ve gathered voices from mothers across the globe to create a book that is equal parts practical guide and heartfelt companion.

Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll find inside:

🌍 Global Perspectives – Real stories from women building a life far from home.

🤝 Expert Guidance – Contributions from expat specialists who understand the challenges firsthand.

💡 Practical Tips – Support and advice to help you feel more prepared and a little less alone.

What’s Next

While my copy editor works their magic, I’m diving into my next project: Parenting Unpacked, emotional map built from raw, real stories of parents navigating identity, loss, love, and resilience across borders.

If you’d like to be the first to know when Maternity Abroad is available for pre-order? Join my mailing list below. The book will be available worldwide from November 2024.

Thank you for cheering me on. This journey wouldn’t feel the same without your support, and I can’t wait for you to read what I’ve been pouring my heart into.
