Keep It Simple Publishing is an independent press founded by Jessica Gabrielzyk, a Brazilian author based in Switzerland.
It exists because the books it publishes did not exist before. The parent giving birth in a foreign country who could not find a pregnancy book written for her situation. The toddler arriving in the United States who needed a visual map of daily life before the world expected her to already know it. The parent two years into expat life who had been holding everything together and needed a word for what was happening underneath.
Those gaps are what Keep It Simple Publishing was built to fill.

The Philosophy
Keep It Simple Publishing does not publish books that promise to fix things. It publishes books that name things. The experience of parenting in a place that was not built for you is specific in ways that general parenting books do not address. The isolation is specific. The loss of competence is specific. The particular experience of becoming a parent abroad is something the existing literature has not yet fully mapped.
These books exist to fill that map.
The press is small, independent, and entirely committed to the reader who has been filling in the gaps herself.

Keep It Simple Publishing prices its books so the reader who most needs them can afford them.
